Every person on this planet should meditate every day!
My mission is simple – to make the practice of meditation appear, not as something esoteric and mysterious, but instead as an essential and useful tool that can be of benefit to everyone, every day. My name’s Craig and I’m a certified meditation instructor and author of ‘Meditation for Beginners’ and ‘Meditation Power’. Other bits of my writing on meditation and self development have been featured in Tiny Buddha, Change This and Pick The Brain.
Like many people I came to meditation after a bit of a personal crisis. It was after a long term relationship break-up that I started sitting and over the following ten years continued to study the works of masters such as: Osho, Charlotte Joko Beck, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Alan Watts, S. N. Goenka, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and Daisaku Ikeda.
After this experience of regular meditation practice, attending retreats and writing on meditation I have happily found myself to be an advocate for the power and possibility of meditation as a method of transformation. I truly believe that through this practice each one of us can fulfil our potential and find our authentic selves.
CRAIG started playing drums at the age of 12 and went on to become a professional drummer and signed artist recording and performing with psychedelic shoe-gazers Sun Dial and hard rock pioneers Skyscraper. Their ‘Shooters’ second album is about to be re-released.
He has also travelled many other paths including training as a transformative coach, becoming a sound healer, working as a ceramist, being a web designer and becoming intrigued with group dynamics and working as a facilitator.
Through all of this runs a deep fascination with the journey of the self – how we see the world and our place in it, how we relate to one another and how we find our truth and purpose.
Now a respected educator, consultant, writer and coach, Craig has worked with thousands of people within schools, colleges, hospices, universities and special needs institutions and offers coaching in meditation to bring clarity, peace of mind, focus and insight.
