My mission is simple – to make the practice of meditation appear, not as something esoteric and mysterious, but instead as an essential and useful tool that can be of benefit to everyone, every day.
I’m a certified meditation instructor and author of ‘Meditation for Beginners’ and ‘Meditation Power’. Other bits of my writing on meditation and self development have been featured in Tiny Buddha, Change This and Pick The Brain.
After a long term relationship break-up I started meditating and over the following ten years continued to study the works of many of the meditation masters that have walked this path before me: Osho, Charlotte Joko Beck, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Alan Watts, S. N. Goenka, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and Daisaku Ikeda.
After this experience of regular meditation practice, attending retreats and writing on meditation I have happily found myself to be an advocate for the power and possibility of meditation as a method of transformation. I truly believe that through this practice we can fulfil our potential and find our authentic selves.
